The Test and ODI series are over, and there have been no surprises as Indians won both, dominating the West Indies. Apart from the 2nd ODI, the hosts haven't had anything to cheer about in the last few months. But talk about T20s and betting tips change as West Indies are a different beast in the shortest format of the game. They are a powerhouse in T20 cricket with big matchwinners in the side, and cricket betting apps give them favorable odds compared to other formats.  West Indies will look to put the recent upsets behind them and aim at an early lead in this 5-match series. Powell would like to play to his strengths and expect a team effort in their bid to take an important lead in the series.  

The side will need a good start from Kyle Mayers and Brandon Kings, as both players are good strike makers. The middle order packs a punch, and they will expect runs from Nicholas Pooran, Johnson Charles, and Rovman Powell. Jason Holder, Romario Shephard, and Roston Chase add firepower to this line-up in the lower middle order.  

On the bowling front, the side will expect a good show from Roston Chase and Kyle Mayers with the new ball. Alzzari Joseph and Jason Holder have a lot of experience, and they will look to tie down the Indians in the middle overs. Shephard and Roston Chase add variety to this attack.

Hardik Pandya will feel confident after his side's performance in the 3rd ODI, winning it by 200 runs. The visitors seemed to be in a T20 mood in that game and come here with their batters in good form. However, Pandya would acknowledge his opponent's strength and like to see a professional approach from his players in this game.  

Shubman Gill has done well in recent months and he will look to set up a big stand with Yashasvi Jaiswal at the top. The middle order is formidable, and they expect runs from Ishan Kishan, Sanju Sampson, and Suryakumar Yadav. Hardik Pandya will look to do the big hitting down the order with Avesh Khan.  

Avesh Khan and Mukesh Kumar must strike early to put West Indies in the backfoot. They can't allow the West Indies to play their natural game. Umran Malik must bowl good lines and mix his pace in the middle overs. Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal are smart customers and will look to use the slowness in the surface. Pandya completes a good bowling attack for the team.

Most recent games have been low-scoring encounters where the surface hasn't been the easiest to bat on. Setting targets has been difficult for the sides that have batted first here. Thus, we believe the side that wins the toss in this game would opt to bowl first. 

PITCH AND WEATHER CONDITIONS      

It would be overcast skies over Trinidad on August 3. The pitch has become difficult to bat on as the ball isn't coming onto the bat nicely. Fast bowlers have done well with the new ball, and spinners have also grabbed wickets. The side batting first must balance caution with aggression and target a score in the range of 170 runs.
