The two sides have shared a close rivalry. The Tallawahs had knocked the Kings out of the tournament last year in the Eliminator game, and the Kings would look to settle scores. There will be a notable absence of key players in both camps as several overseas players and busy with The Hundred and the Lanka Premier League. Both teams pack a punch in terms of team strengths, and we expect a close game here.  

Saint Lucia Kings Preview      

Faf du Plessis would look to leverage the home advantage in this game. They enjoy a good record at this venue and shall have the crowds behind them. The Kings' skipper knows his opponents' strengths and shall like to see the key players on his team start the season with a positive performance.  

Johnson Charles is a good hitter and would look to offer a good start, opening the batting with Faf du Plessis. Kimani Milues has shown a lot of promise and will look to add quick runs with Roston Chase and Sikandar Raza. The side will miss some of its key players in the first game, and Brandon King will look to get the best out of the resources at hand.  

The side will need a good start at the top from Brandon King and Shamarh Brooks. The middle order packs a lot of firepower, and they will expect good performances from Kirk McKenzie, Raymon Reifer, and Jermaine Blackwood. Ben Cutting, Fabian Allen, and Amir Jangoo add to the side's batting strength, and they will look to do well.  

They have a strong new ball pair in Mohammad Amir and Chris Green, and they will look to do well in this game. Hayden Walsh looked good last season, and he must bowl good spells in the middle overs with Fabian Allen. The side will also expect a good show from Cutting, Reifer, and Kirk McKenzie.
