The bowling attack failed last season, and the side will expect a good show from the bowlers this year.

They have one of the strongest batting line-ups in the tournament and shall look to do well this season. They start as one of the favorites in the tournament and will be one of the teams to watch out for.

Faf du Plessis' side lost in the semifinal last year. They finished second on the points table in the league stage and won six out of ten games. The side was consistent and did well with the bat and the ball. They are one of the strongest teams in this tournament and have a strong bowling attack. The Super Kings' skipper would look for a good start in the tournament.

They will be a tough side to beat with the kind of strength in the top order.  Maharaj will look to get the best performances out of his players in this game.

They need a good start to get their confidence and have the strength to challenge the other sides.
