Rajasthan Royals will look to book a berth in the playoffs as they take on Royal Challengers Bangalore in the 60th game of IPL 2023. RR is in top gear, and they demolished the Kolkata Knight Riders' bowling attack in the last game. It is a must-win game for RCB to keep their hopes alive for a berth in the playoffs. They messed up in the last game against Mumbai Indians and handed the game on a platter from a winning position. A lot is riding in this game for RCB, and we expect them to give it all and make this an electrifying contest that goes down the wire.  

Rajasthan Royals Preview     

Sanju Samson's side continues to do what it is best known for – destroy bowling attacks. They sealed the fate of the Kolkata Knight Riders in the last game, winning by 9 wickets. How they approached the game with the bat would worry the Royal Challengers. Samson would back his players to continue this momentum and book a berth for themselves in the playoffs.  

Jos Buttler and Yashasvi Jaiswal are destroying bowling attacks with 967 runs at a strike rate of 158. The side will expect a positive start from this flamboyant pair. Samson has led from the front and will look to build partnerships with Dhruv Jurel and Joe Root in the middle order. Shimron Hetmyer has done well in the finishers' role and will look to add quick runs with Ravichandran Ashwin.  

Trent Boult and Sandeep Sharma will face tough competition from the RCB opening pair, and their role will be crucial in this game. The tried and tested spin duo of Ravichandran Ashwin and Yuzvendra Chahal will look to run through the middle order and exploit RCB's lack of form in this department. Joe Root, Obed McCoy, and KM Asif add to the side's bowling options.

Faf du Plessis' side is struggling with back-to-back losses. It has been a three-player show for the franchise this season, and the middle order and bowling attack haven't delivered. They threw away their last game against the Mumbai Indians from a comfortable position, losing by 6 wickets. This game will decide their fate, and du Plessis would want his players to deliver under pressure.  

Faf du Plessis and Virat Kohli have done well, with nearly 1000 runs between them. Considering the state of the batting line-up, the pair must lay a strong platform. Glenn Maxwell has looked good, but the rest of the middle order has been inconsistent. They need runs from Mahipal Lomror and Anuj Rawat in this high-pressure contest. Dinesh Karthik, Kedar Jadhav, and Wanindu Hasaranga must finish things well, as the poor scoring rate in the last 5 overs has hurt the side.   

The bowling attack faces its toughest challenge yet, and they need early breakthroughs from Josh Hazlewood and Mohammad Siraj to stop the RR juggernaut. Hasaranga is a senior bowler, and his performance will be crucial. Vijaykumar Vyshak, Maxwell, and Harshal Patel must keep the scoring rate under check, as RR batsmen would show no mercy given their form.

It is a must-win game for the team, and they haven't cracked the code in the finishing act. Rajasthan Royals have the top order in excellent form and two quality spinners on the side. They have the tail win behind them and shall start favorites to win this game.
