MATCH PREVIEW     

Rajasthan Royals would like to continue their dominance as they take on Lucknow Super Giants at their home ground Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Jaipur. They have won four out of five games and sit at the top of the points table. They defeated the Gujarat Titans comfortably in the last game. The Lucknow Super Giants have shown their sparks despite losing against the Punjab Kings in the last game. We shall have a tight contest here as the Super Giants aim to make a comeback.  

Rajasthan Royals Preview     

The Royals are on full steam, and skipper Sanju Sampson will feel happy with his side's progress. They defeated the defending champions, Gujarat Titans, by 3 wickets in the last game. The win, which came after three losses against the Titans, would increase the camp's confidence. With his side on top of the points table, Sampson would look to maintain that, winning this game.   

Jos Buttler and Yashasvi Jaiswal missed out in the last game, but the pair has nearly 400 runs between them this season. They will look to lay a strong foundation in this game. The middle order has done well, and the side will expect runs from Sanju Sampson, Shimron Hetmyer, and Riyan Parag. They sacrificed depth in the batting in the last game, and hence Ravichandran Ashwin will have an important role down the order.  

Trent Boult's return has strengthened the bowling for the team, and he will look to deliver early wickets along with Sandeep Sharma. LSG has a strong batting line-up; early strikes will help the side. In Adam Zampa, Ashwin, and Yuzvendra Chahal, they have the best spin attack for any side, and the trio must contain the batsmen with their variations.

Lucknow Super Giants Preview      

KL Rahul will be upset with the 2-wicket loss against the Punjab Kings in the last game. They had a good start with the bat, but a batting collapse resulted in the side finishing 20 runs short of what would have been a good target. They wasted their opportunities with the ball as well. Rahul will be aware of the challenge in this game and expect a good show from his side.  

KL Rahul hasn't been at his best and needs to offer an electrifying start with Kyle Mayers. Barring Nicholas Pooran, the middle order has been inconsistent with the bat. They need runs from Krunal Pandya and Deepak Hooda in this game. Marcus Stoinis' lack of form is hurting the side, and he must deliver the goods down the order with Ayush Badoni and Krishnappa Gowtham.  

The bowlers put up a brave fight in the last game, and the side will expect good spells with the new ball from Yudhvir Singh Charak and Avesh Khan. Mark Wood is the leading wicket-taker with 11 wickets, and he has an important role in the middle overs with Gowtham. The side will also need tight spells from Pandya and Ravi Bishnoi.

TOSS: To Bowl First      

Most teams in the past have preferred to chase scores at this venue. The batting conditions are brilliant here, and this allows teams to score runs easily in the second innings. We expect this trend to continue, and the side winning the toss will opt to bowl first in this game. 

PITCH AND WEATHER CONDITIONS      

We expect a hot evening in Jaipur. We expect a flat batting surface where the ball would come to the bat nicely. Spinners have enjoyed a good record as the ball turns sharply at this venue. There isn't much on this track for the fast bowlers. 180 would be a good score on this track.    

OUR PREDICTION      

Inconsistency with the bat has been a problem for the Lucknow Super Giants. Their top and middle order must stand up to the challenge in this game, as the hosts will come hard at them. The Royals have ticked all the boxes and have their batsmen in good form. They will enjoy crowd support, and it makes them favorites to win.  

Our Prediction is for Rajasthan Royals to win
