MATCH PREVIEW     

We are in the last match of the most exciting ODI series between India and Sri Lanka in a decade. Sri Lanka, which had started with low odds on most cricket betting sites, has turned the series on its head with a 32-run win in the 2nd ODI. The 1st ODI ended in a tie, and we have seen the bowlers dominate in the two games on turning tracks. The hosts stand on the brink of history as a series win here would be their first against the Indians in a bilateral series in almost two decades. The Indians will now fight for survival after poor performances with the bat in both games. We expect to see a turning track in Colombo, and it will be interesting to see if the Indians can save the series.  

Sri Lanka Preview     

Charith Asalanka will be proud of his bowlers. They pulled off a sensational win from the jaws of defeat after it seemed the Indians would win comfortably. For the side that had been at the receiving end against the Indians in the last decade, it was a much-needed win. For the first time in this series, the pressure will be on the Indians, and Asalanka would like to use this to his advantage and guide the team to a historic series win.  

Avishka Fernando batted well in the last game and will look to deliver a good start with in-form Pathum Nissanka. Kusal Mendis will look to add runs in the middle order with Sadeera Samarawickrama and Charith Asalanka as the Indian spinners will test them. The team also needs a good show in this game from Kamindu Mendis, Janith Liyanage, and Dunith Wellalage.  

The Sri Lankan bowlers have done enough in the last two games to hurt India's ego. Asitha Fernando and Dunith Wellalage must strike early, as India's openers are in good form. Jeffrey Vandersay bowled a dream spell in the last game, picking 6 wickets, and he will look to trouble the batsmen in the middle overs with Asalanka. Kamindu Mendis and Akila Dananjaya must do well in the supporting role.

The Indians haven't lived up to their reputation on cricket betting apps. Rohit Sharma could only do that much. In both games, he delivered the start the side needed only to see the middle and lower middle order throw away the game. If it was 115 runs for 10 wickets in the 1st ODI, the team had a worse show, losing 10 wickets for only 111 runs in the last game. Sharma would expect a better show from his batsmen as they fight to save the series.  

Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill have batted well in both games. The team needs a good start from them, as scoring runs against the new ball have been easier. Virat Kohli must bring his experience to play and do well in the middle order with Shreyas Iyer and KL Rahul. The team will need runs from Riyan Parag, Axar Patel, and Washington Sundar in the lower middle order.  

The bowlers have troubled the Sri Lankans in both games. The side needs a good show from Mohammad Siraj and Arshdeep Singh with the new ball. The conditions will suit Kuldeep Yadav and Axar Patel, and they must trouble the batsmen with their variations. The side will expect a good performance from Riyan Parag and Sundar in the supporting role.

We expect clear skies over Colombo on August 7. The wicket will be slow, and spinners will enjoy bowling on this surface. Batmen must rotate the strike and build their innings to do well on this surface. The side batting first shall be happy to have 280 runs on the board.

Sri Lanka won the last game, but not without its problems. The batting lineup has struggled in this series, and the hosts would need a strong show from the top order to put up a big score on the board. The Indians have their bowlers in good form, and we shall expect a good show from the star-studded batting lineup. We expect a close game, but the Indians, with a stronger batting lineup, shall start favorites.
