Dindigul Dragons will look to build momentum as they take on the Siechem Madurai Panthers in the 8th game of the Tamil Nadu Premier League, 2023. The Dragons started the season with a win against Ba11sy Trichy and shall aim to rise on the points table. It will be an important game for Madurai Panthers, as they had a poor outing in the last game against Nellai Royal Kings. It is still an early phase in the tournament; we expect the two sides to come hard at each other.

Ravichandran Ashwin will be happy with his side's performance in their season opener against Ba11sy Trichy. It was a convincing show by the Dragons as they restricted their opponents to a low total and chased the score clinically to win by 6 wickets. Ashwin will like to use this momentum to defeat the Madurai Panthers after losing against them in the last two seasons.  

Shivam Singh did well in the last game, and he has to deliver a strong start in this game, opening the batting with Vimal Kumar. They have a formidable middle order, with Baba Indrajith, Adithya Ganesh, and C Sarath Kumar looking good. Ashwin can play big shots and will look to add quick runs with Suboth Bhati down the order.   

P Saravana Kumar and S Arun bowled well in the last game and will aim to strike with the new ball. Ashwin and Varun Chakaravarthy are the two most experienced bowlers in the tournament, and all eyes will be on their performance. M Mathivannan and Suboth Bhatia add bowling options for the team, making it strong.

Hari Nishanth's side had a poor outing in the last game against the Nellai Royal Kings. Their batsmen looked rusty as the side managed only 126 runs in their 20 overs. Nishanth must lead from the front, and he will expect a solid show from his batters as they will face a formidable bowling attack.  

Nishanth played a captain's knock in the last game and will need support at the other end from S Karthik. K Deeban Lingesh, Washington Sundar, and Jagatheesan Kousik must build partnerships in the middle order, which they failed to do in the last game. Swapnil Singh and Sudhan Kandepan need to fire down the order against a good attack.  

The side will need tight spells from Washington Sundar and Gurjapneet Singh with the new ball in this game. Murugan Ashwin is the most experienced bowler in the team, and he must deliver tight overs. Balu Surya, Dev Rahul, and Swapnil Singh have important roles in stopping the flow of runs.
