It is Match No. 43 in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023, and Australians will look to build momentum for the semifinal as they take on Bangladesh. The Australians have their odds high after the remarkable win against Afghanistan in the last game, where they rode on the shoulders of Glenn Maxwell to win from a horrible condition. Bangladesh defeated Sri Lanka in the previous game, another match that made many headlines for the wrong reasons. They are out of the semifinal contention and shall look to end the tournament on a high. It will be interesting to see if Bangladesh can end its 18-year drought against Australia.  

Australia Preview      

Pat Cummins' team defied all odds and rode on a Maxwell maximum to defeat Afghanistan in the last game by three wickets. Few would have expected the five-time champions to win, losing seven wickets for less than 100 runs in a big run chase. However, the Australian self-belief saw them through. Having made it to the semifinal, the Aussies will look for a big win and build momentum ahead of the big game.  

David Warner has batted well in this tournament and will look to deliver a good start in this game along with Travis Head. The middle order failed in the previous game, and the side will look for solid performances from Mitchell Marsh, Marnus Labuschagne, Josh Inglis. Maxwell played the best ODI knock for years in the last game and adds firepower to this batting line-up with Marcus Stoinis and Pat Cummins.  

The Australian bowling attack hasn't been at its best in this tournament. The side will need a good spell from Mitchell Starc and Josh Hazlewood with the new ball to regain its mojo. Adam Zampa has done well and will look to bowl tight middle overs with Cummins. Maxwell and Marsh add strength to this bowling attack.

Najmul Hossain Shanto takes command of the ship as the skipper of Shakib al Hasan suffered an injury in the last game. Though Bangladesh defeated Sri Lanka by three wickets, the controversy surrounding Bangladesh's timed-out appeal against Angelo Mathews dominated the headlines. Cricket betting tips don't see Bangladesh as favorites in this game, thanks to their dismal 1-19 record against Australia. Shanto must lead from the front and expect his players to fight hard.  

Litton Das and Tanzid Hasan haven't fired in the tournament and the team needs a good show from them to have a chance in this game. The absence of Shakib Al Hasan is a big blow to their middle order. Najmul Hossain Shanto must lead from the front and add runs with Mushfiqur Rahim and Mahmudullah. Towhid Hridoy, Mehidy Hasan Miraz, and Mahedi Hasan add depth to this line-up and must do well.  

Australian batsmen haven't been at their best, and the Bangladeshis would like to see Taskin Ahmed and Shoriful Islam strike with the new ball. Mehidy Hasan Miraz and Mustafizur Rahman must bowl tight spells in the middle overs, as their opponents have good hitters in the middle order. They lack depth in bowling, and Mahedi Hasan will have to perform under pressure.
